This Privacy Policy explains how Discover Claims, LLC handles information in the Discover ClaimsTM Android app (the “App”) and on this website.
Discover Claims, LLC is committed to protecting your privacy. The App is designed so that the information you enter stays on your device and isn’t sent to us.
Discover Claims, LLC may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are in agreement with any changes.
In no event will Discover Claims, LLC be liable for any loss or damage, including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or loss or damage arising from loss of data, profits and revenues.
Information Stored in the App
The App doesn’t require an account. The information you enter, including your name and address, insurance companies, claim numbers, dates of injury, medical providers, trips, and your mileage rate, is stored only on your device. It is not sent to Discover Claims, LLC, and we can’t view, access, or recover it.
When you print or save a reimbursement summary, the App uses your device’s built-in print service. Where that summary goes, such as a printer, a PDF file, or an app you share it with, is up to you and is governed by the policies of those services.
If Android backup is turned on, your device may include App data in your Google account backup. Google manages that backup under its own privacy policy.
Feedback You Send Us
The App’s Send Feedback screen is the only feature that sends information to us, and only when you tap Send. It sends the message you write, the reply-to email address you choose to provide (optional), the time it was sent, and the App’s identifier. Your claims, trips, and other App data are never included. Feedback is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with our cloud hosting provider.
Information Collected by This Website
This website uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies to collect information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, browser type, and approximate location. We use it to understand and improve the site. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
What We Do with the Information We Receive
We use the feedback and any email address you send us to:
- Respond to your questions and feedback
- Fix problems and improve our products and services
- Keep internal records
Security
We are committed to keeping information secure. The App keeps your claim information on your device, and feedback is sent over an encrypted connection. Because App data is stored on your device, its security also depends on how you protect your device, such as with a screen lock. If you email us, please don’t send information that you believe to be confidential.
Discover Claims, LLC reserves the right at its sole discretion to address privacy and security implications of the rules promulgated pursuant to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as applicable to us. This service is not currently intended for use outside of the United States of America.
Discover Claims, LLC reserves the right to disclose information it holds to third parties if required to do so by law; or if we believe such action is necessary to comply with legal process served upon us; protect or defend our legal rights or property; or to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, potential threats to the physical safety of any person; or violations of any obligations owed to Discover Claims, LLC.

Our website and App may contain links to other websites of interest, such as Google Play. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over other websites. This Privacy Policy does not govern other websites, and your browsing on any other website is subject to the rules and policies of that website.
Controlling Your Personal Information
- You can edit or delete information in the App at any time, or delete all of it by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App. See Delete Your Data for step-by-step instructions.
- To request a copy of feedback you have sent us, or to have it deleted, email dcsupport@discoverclaims.com.
We will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
